FAQ
What should I bring for my pet during an overnight boarding?
I encourage all of my clients to bring at least one toy, food, leash, collar, and their bedding/crate. Some animals experience separation anxiety and having their belongings helps ease that.
How can I check on my pet during their stay?
During your pets stay you will receive multiple pictures and updates on how they are doing.
My pet has a special diet. Can their needs be accommodated?
Of course.
How often are potty breaks?
I have the luxury of being able to work from home and provide potty breaks every hour throughout the day.
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of drop-off.
Venmo, Zelle, or cash is accepted.
What is your cancellation policy?
For a full refund you must cancel 7 days before your booking starts.
How does mealtime work?
Food is prepared exactly as requested by each pet parent. If food is forgotten, I do have dog food at no extra charge.
What happens if there's an incident between my dog and another dog?
I strive to create a safe environment for all animals, but I understand that not every animal will get along. I am trained to understand animal body language, and if I see that an animal is becoming aggressive or agitated, I will take steps to remove that animal from the situation before it can escalate.
What vaccinations are required for my fur-baby?
Your animals, safety and wellbeing are my first concern. I require that all furry friends are current on required vaccines. Be sure to provide your fur-babies shot record when booking their stay.
Dogs:
Rabies: required once before 16 weeks of age for puppies, then given again on year later and then every three years going forward.
DHPP (DHLPP): Required as a puppy series beginning at 6-8 weeks old, boosted at 3-week intervals and again a year later. Then every three years going forward.
Bordetella: Required to be current by 12 months from date of vaccine.
Canine Influenza (Dog Flu) vaccination is highly recommended for all social dogs. The dog flu is highly contagious virus, and the vaccine offers excellent protection.
Also-Must provide documentation of last medication for heartworm, flea, and tick prevention.
Cats:
Rabies: (6-8 weeks, 10-12 weeks, 14-16 weeks, 1 year and every 3 years)
